Welcome to the Torridon Junior School website

We are a three-form entry school situated in Catford, which is part of the London borough of Lewisham. Our children, aged between 7 and 11 years of age, bring a wonderful amount of diversity to our school and we positively celebrate this.

We are proud of the many achievements of our school – in academic results achieved, the provision for the personal development of children and the wide range of activities we offer.  We have a well-established staff that work well together and we encourage parents and carers to play an active role in their child’s education.  We take care to ensure the children who attend our school work to the best of their ability, make outstanding progress and develop an understanding of the world around them.

In September 2013 our roll increased to 390 with the arrival of a ‘bulge class’ into Year 3. We also welcomed the first intake of pupils into our new ASD Resource Base ‘Torridon Lighthouse’.   For more information on this, please contact the school.
