Torridon Junior School

Together everyone achieves more

Introduction

Torridon Juniors is very much a community school. We are inclusive and popular and our children tell us that they are happy, valued and feel safe. At Torridon we know that a close partnership with parents and carers is vital if children are to learn and grow as individuals. We therefore strive to do all we can to keep parents and carers informed and involved in school life.

Our children achieve well academically. Our skills based curriculum enables them to develop positive attitudes and values that encourage self-motivation and an enthusic approach to learning. Creativity, sport and the arts all play a key role in making school an enjoyable place to be.

SCHOOL VISION

Torridon Junior School will provide a caring and creative learning environment in which all the children make outstanding progress both emotionally and academically.

All members of the school community will feel valued and will strive to ensure that all pupils achieve their full potential.

Children at Torridon will learn the skills and attitudes that enable them to lead successful and happy lives as confident life-long learners who make a positive contribution to society.
