Together everyone achieves more
The Governors of Torridon Junior School are looking for an experienced, exceptional headteacher with drive and passion to lead our school. Having worked in partnership with two outstanding local primary schools, we now wish to appoint a substantive headteacher to consolidate the learning from those experiences and develop closer links with our co-located Infant school (judged as Outstanding by Ofsted , 2015) . Torridon is a lively 3FE school with delightful children in a borough where, despite high levels of deprivation, the Primary sector is a national high-achiever. The school has taken “bulge” classes to help meet local demand for places. In keeping with the school’s inclusive ethos, we also provide an ASD Resource Base.
The successful candidate will be
- keenly focussed on the achievement of the Torridon pupils;
- able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders;
- an excellent practitioner who leads by example;
- ambitious and adaptable;
- aware of the opportunities presented by working with a range of other partners.
An enhanced salary package will be available for the right candidate.
If you feel you have the qualities to lead our school into the future then we look forward to hearing from you.
You can obtain an application form , arrange a visit to the school, or organise an informal discussion with governors by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by contacting Joy Ahwieh, our School Business Manager, by telephone 020 8697 2762
